Luxman E-07 Phono Amplifier
Luxman E-07 Phono Preamplifier
Experience the pinnacle of analog audio reproduction with this premium all-solid-state MC/MM phono equalizer amplifier. Engineered with LUXMAN's decades of amplifier expertise, the E-07 delivers exceptional sound quality through advanced circuit design and meticulous component selection.
Advanced Engineering Features
Superior Connectivity & Signal Path
Features balanced XLR inputs that receive differential signals from MC cartridges without loss of output energy, dramatically improving left-right stereo separation and image localization. Two additional unbalanced RCA input pairs provide versatility for multiple turntable setups. The newly developed step-up transformer for MC cartridges utilizes a super permalloy core with exceptional responsiveness to minute signals, comprising two independent units per channel for Low/High gain selection.
Precision Circuit Architecture
The all-solid-state design features high S/N ratio NF-type transistors with four individual FETs paralleled in the primary stage for ultra-low noise performance. Every component has been carefully selected and subjected to extensive listening tests, including high-end original custom-developed parts. The loopless chassis structure isolates the power supply from amplifier sections while minimizing ground impedance from chassis currents.
Comprehensive Load Matching System
Front panel 6-position rotary MC impedance selector (4.7/10/40/100/300/1kΩ) provides optimal transformer selection based on chosen impedance group. Rear panel MM load impedance switches (34/47/56/100kΩ) and load capacitance selectors (0/100/220/320pF) ensure precise cartridge matching. This comprehensive adjustment system maximizes sound quality across the widest range of phono cartridge types available.
Robust Power Supply Design
Three independent transformers create an ideal power environment: separate transformers for left and right audio processing circuitry, plus a dedicated transformer for indicators and relay drive circuits. This prevents load fluctuations in each circuit block from interfering with one another. Power amplifier-grade large capacity block capacitors (10,000μF x 5) provide extremely stable current supply with excellent independent power supply regulation.
Advanced Grounding & Shielding
Four large gold-plated brass grounding terminals machined from solid brass provide dedicated phono ground connections for each input (Unbalanced 1, Unbalanced 2, Balanced 1) plus traditional frame ground. The innovative petal-shaped grounding structure (PGS) consolidates each circuit's signal reference point into a single location with ultra-thick steel plates connecting ground radially at identical low impedance. All internal wiring uses OFC cable with precise spiral-wrapped shielding and pure unplated copper cores.
Professional Control Features
The articulator function defeats magnetization of cartridge and MC transformer using signal current from the record being played. Low-cut switch suppresses woofer instability by filtering low-frequency artifacts from warped records. Mono mode switch enables convenient playback of mono records, while the phase inversion switch reverses balanced output phase to match connected equipment. Gold-plated reversed AC inlet supports heavy IEC cable weight across terminals.
